The Distribution Planning Engineer assists in the engineering activities of the cooperative by applying sound engineering judgment in system construction, planning, and protection, as well as maintaining and analyzing critical engineering data.

Performs any assigned tasks at a level of independent expertise, involving the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, repair and operation of transmission line facilities and equipment, including distribution lines, when necessary.
