Design, plan, and stake electric distribution projects to support reliable service. Work with operations, contractors, and property owners to create construction-ready work orders, ensure safety and compliance, and deliver cost-effective solutions for new services and system improvements.

Performs, or assists in the performance of, fundamental tasks involving the building and grounds maintenance of substation facilities. Participates in on-the-job training and other educational opportunities in order to attain substation skills and knowledge.

Performs assigned projects, procedures, or tasks at a level of independent expertise, involving the installation, calibration, testing, inspection, repair and maintenance of all types and kinds of power quality instruments, watthour meters, and metering and meter communications equipment.
