OPPORTUNITIES

If you’re a seasoned professional with a track record of success in transmission engineering and planning, then this may be the job for you.

• Oversees the transmission planning, design, and supply chain teams
• Interfaces with WVPA members to coordinate transmission improvements and direct new project development
• Provides industry expertise on transmission planning strategies within transmission regions and RTO processes
• Serves as a transmission representative to outside stakeholders including neighboring utilities, economic development leads, and other partners
• Drives the development and execution of transmission engineering design and material standards
• Supports the development of supply chain processes and ensures accurate inventory records

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or considerable relevant experience in utility planning and/or engineering required
• 15 years’ progressive experience in substation design, transmission line design, and/or transmission planning required
• 5 years’ progressive experience in a supervisory role required
• Professional Engineering (PE) License preferred
